Since it’s launch last July, Jet has been working closely with UserTesting, a website testing and optimization service. This partnership was created with the sole purpose of receiving feedback from customers as they shop online and to do so they added vital information customers were looking for on the product pages. This information included fields such as shipping cost, hours of operation, customer service number, and return policy.
According to the director of research at Jet.com, Ben Babcock, the conversion rate was greater than 10%. Any rate that is 10% or greater is considered a significant rise for Jet, so they’re thrilled with the results. He also mentioned that Jet is working with UserTesting to gather customer feedback throughout the company. Therefore, employees understand how the site is being used and the specific things shoppers dislike with their shopping experiences.
Jet’s customer base is growing and and they’ve predicted consumers to spend over $1 billion on it’s marketplace this year.
